This spouse tells what it was like to observe a procedure at the Modern Nose Clinic.

Spouse:

Because I am a person that – I never thought I would be able to watch his surgery. And I watched every minute, just passionately. It was so amazing to watch, and he didn't – it wasn't painful. It was delicate, fine-tuned, and it was fascinating. And it wasn't – it didn't unnerve me. It was really pretty amazing. I'm excited to see the video.

Dr. Skarada:

That's helpful to know too because some people are apprehensive. At the Modern Nose Clinic–

Oh yeah.

Dr. Skarada:

– we like to invite friends and family members to watch while we're doing this surgery.

Spouse:

It was amazing!

Dr. Skarada:

It gives me a chance. I enjoy people, and it gives me a chance to really know the families better, so I feel like we get to bond a little bit better. And we can really – when you see something, and you see why we're doing it, and you can watch, you can see that it successfully opens. You know that you've gotten it fixed, whereas, when your loved one goes to the OR, and they say, "I did X, Y, and Z" you believe them, but there's something about actually seeing it.

Spouse:

Absolutely.

Dr. Skarada:

In this case here, his prior surgery. They had tried to open sinuses that were never opened. I mean, when we opened them, it was the first time. So.

Spouse:

Yeah, it was amazing!

Dr. Skarada:
